Responsibilities
- Execute excavation, demolition, and earthwork operations under supervisor guidance
- Assist carpenters, masons, and other trades with material handling and site preparation
- Operate hand/power tools (saws, drills, jackhammers) and light machinery
- Maintain job site cleanliness, debris removal, and safety compliance
- Read and interpret blueprints, safety protocols, and work orders
- Participate in concrete pouring, framing, and finishing tasks as needed
- Complete daily progress reports and maintain equipment logs
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year construction labor experience or trade school certification
- OSHA 10-hour construction certification preferred
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs repeatedly and work in extreme weather conditions
- Valid Texas driver's license and reliable transportation
- Basic math skills for measurement calculations
- Strong mechanical aptitude and tool maintenance knowledge
- Ability to stand/walk 8+ hours and work overnight shifts (6 PM - 6 AM)
- Pass pre-employment drug screen and background check
