Responsibilities
- Execute excavation, demolition, and earth-moving operations with precision
- Operate heavy machinery including excavators, bulldozers, and forklifts
- Install concrete forms, rebar, and scaffolding structures
- Maintain strict adherence to OSHA safety protocols and job site regulations
- Perform site cleanup, debris removal, and hazardous material handling
- Collaborate with skilled tradesmen on complex construction phases
- Inspect and maintain equipment daily to ensure optimal performance
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of commercial construction experience
- Valid OSHA 30-hour certification required
- Class A CDL license preferred (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to lift 75+ pounds and perform physically demanding tasks
- Proven experience operating heavy machinery (excavators, backhoes)
- Strong knowledge of construction blueprints and safety standards
- Reliable transportation and night shift availability
