Responsibilities
- Assist skilled trades with material handling, site preparation, and equipment operation
- Execute excavation, demolition, and concrete work following blueprints and safety protocols
- Maintain clean, organized job sites and manage waste disposal systems
- Operate power tools (jackhammers, saws, drills) and heavy machinery under supervision
- Conduct daily equipment inspections and report maintenance needs
- Adhere strictly to OSHA standards and company safety procedures
- Support night-time operations including traffic control and site security
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years construction labor experience preferred
- OSHA 10-Hour Construction certification required
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and perform physically demanding tasks
- Valid California driver's license and clean driving record
- Flexible availability for night shifts (6 PM - 6 AM)
- Basic math skills for material calculations and measurements
- Pass background check and pre-employment drug screening
- Experience operating hand/power tools and heavy machinery
