Responsibilities
- Execute site preparation, excavation, and material handling under supervision
- Operate heavy machinery (forklifts, excavators) with proper certification
- Assist skilled trades with concrete pouring, framing, and finishing tasks
- Maintain strict safety protocols and equipment inspections
- Manage inventory and coordinate material deliveries
- Perform cleanup and debris removal to OSHA standards
- Read blueprints and interpret technical specifications
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years commercial construction experience
- Valid OSHA 30-hour certification required
- Class B CDL license or heavy equipment operation certification
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in extreme weather
- Pass pre-employment drug screening and background check
- Knowledge of Texas construction regulations
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Reliable transportation to worksites
