Responsibilities
- Execute site preparation, excavation, and concrete pouring under night shift supervision
- Operate heavy machinery including excavators, forklifts, and power tools with precision
- Install scaffolding, formwork, and temporary structures per blueprints
- Inspect and maintain equipment daily to ensure OSHA compliance
- Collaborate with skilled trades (electricians, welders) during complex installations
- Document daily progress and material usage in digital reporting systems
- Participate in weekly safety briefings and quality control checks
Qualifications
- 3+ years of commercial construction experience required
- Night shift availability (6 PM - 6 AM, Mon-Fri)
- OSHA 30 certification or willingness to obtain within 30 days
- Valid Virginia driver's license and clean driving record
- Ability to lift 75+ lbs and work in extreme weather conditions
- Proficiency with construction software (Procore, Bluebeam) preferred
- Pass pre-employment physical and drug screening
- Welding or forklift certification a major plus
