Responsibilities
- Execute construction tasks including site preparation, material handling, and equipment operation under night shift supervision
- Adhere strictly to OSHA safety protocols and maintain clean, organized job sites
- Assist skilled trades with concrete pouring, framing, and finishing tasks
- Operate machinery like forklifts and power tools following manufacturer guidelines
- Read blueprints and follow project specifications with precision
- Monitor material inventory and report supply needs to project managers
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to maintain production schedules
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of commercial construction experience or equivalent trade certification
- Valid OSHA 30-hour certification or willingness to obtain within 30 days
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physically demanding tasks in varying weather conditions
- Strong understanding of construction safety standards and emergency procedures
- Basic blueprint reading and measurement calculation skills
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to work independently while maintaining team communication
- Flexibility to adjust schedule during project critical phases
