Responsibilities
- Execute construction tasks including excavation, material handling, and equipment operation during overnight shifts
- Maintain strict adherence to OSHA safety protocols and site-specific regulations
- Operate heavy machinery (forklifts, excavators) and hand tools with precision
- Assist skilled tradespersons in concrete pouring, framing, and finishing work
- Perform site cleanup, debris removal, and hazardous material disposal
- Read and interpret blueprints to ensure accurate project execution
- Monitor material inventory and report supply shortages to supervisors
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of construction labor experience in commercial/residential projects
- Valid OSHA 10-hour certification or willingness to obtain within 30 days
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physically demanding tasks
- Class B CDL license or willingness to obtain for equipment operation
- Strong understanding of construction safety standards and procedures
- Reliable transportation to job sites in Houston metropolitan area
- Ability to work independently and as part of a night shift crew
- Basic math skills for measurements and material calculations
