Responsibilities
- Execute site preparation, excavation, and material handling tasks during night shift hours
- Operate heavy machinery including excavators, forklifts, and power tools under OSHA guidelines
- Assist carpenters, masons, and welders with material setup and project coordination
- Perform safety inspections and maintain clean, organized work zones
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and project specifications
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet tight project deadlines
- Document daily progress and report equipment/maintenance issues
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of commercial construction experience required
- OSHA 10/30 certification preferred (training available)
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physically demanding tasks
- Basic knowledge of power tools and construction equipment
- Strong attention to safety protocols and procedures
- Flexibility to work variable night shift schedules (6 PM - 6 AM)
- Ability to pass pre-employment background check and drug screening
