Responsibilities
- Assist skilled tradespeople with material handling and equipment operation
- Perform site preparation including cleanup, debris removal, and safety setup
- Operate hand/power tools under supervision (drills, saws, jackhammers)
- Follow strict safety protocols and maintain a hazard-free work zone
- Read and interpret basic construction plans and instructions
- Participate in team lifting operations for heavy materials
- Report equipment malfunctions and safety concerns immediately
Qualifications
- No prior construction experience required
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly
- Valid driver's license preferred but not required
- Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Basic math skills for measurement and material counts
- Strong commitment to workplace safety
- Reliable transportation to job sites
- Ability to pass pre-employment background check
