Responsibilities
- Assist skilled tradespeople with construction tasks including excavation, demolition, and material handling
- Operate basic hand tools and equipment safely under supervision
- Maintain clean and organized job sites to ensure safety and efficiency
- Load/unload construction materials and equipment at designated locations
- Follow all safety protocols and OSHA guidelines during night operations
- Participate in site preparation and cleanup activities
- Complete daily task reports and communicate progress to site supervisors
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED) preferred but not required
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physically demanding tasks
- Willingness to work overnight shifts (typically 8 PM - 6 AM)
- Strong work ethic and reliability with consistent attendance
- Basic understanding of construction site safety standards
- Valid driver's license preferred for equipment operation
- No criminal history record check required
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills
