Responsibilities
- Assist with site preparation, including excavation, grading, and debris removal.
- Load, unload, and transport construction materials and tools safely and efficiently.
- Operate basic construction equipment such as pallet jacks, forklifts, and compactors under supervision.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and OSHA-compliant work area at all times.
- Follow all safety protocols and instructions from site supervisors.
- Support skilled tradespeople (carpenters, electricians, plumbers) with daily tasks.
- Perform minor repairs and upkeep on tools and equipment as needed.
Qualifications
- No prior construction experience required—we are looking for the right attitude and work ethic.
- Must be physically fit and capable of lifting heavy loads (up to 50 lbs) and standing for extended periods.
- Ability to work rotating night shifts (typically 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM).
- Basic math skills and the ability to read basic measurements.
- Valid Driver's License is preferred but not mandatory for this entry-level role.
- Must be willing to undergo a background check and drug screening.
