Responsibilities
- Perform heavy lifting, digging, and material handling at active construction sites
- Operate hand/power tools and equipment safely under supervision
- Maintain clean, organized work areas and adhere to OSHA safety protocols
- Assist skilled tradespeople with tasks including concrete pouring, framing, and demolition
- Complete daily timecards and equipment logs accurately
- Respond quickly to supervisor instructions and project demands
- Participate in mandatory safety training and toolbox meetings
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Minimum 6 months construction or physical labor experience preferred
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly and work in all weather conditions
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record
- Availability for 40+ hours/week night shift (6 PM - 6 AM)
- Pass pre-employment drug screening and background check
- Basic understanding of construction site safety standards
- Reliable transportation to job sites across Alameda County
