Responsibilities
- Execute excavation, grading, and site preparation tasks under supervisor guidance
- Operate heavy machinery including excavators, bulldozers, and forklifts
- Install and remove temporary safety barriers and construction signage
- Load/unload construction materials and equipment safely
- Perform concrete pouring, finishing, and curing operations
- Conduct daily equipment inspections and preventative maintenance
- Maintain OSHA compliance standards throughout all procedures
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year construction or heavy equipment experience
- Valid Class B CDL license or ability to obtain within 30 days
- OSHA 10-hour certification or willingness to complete immediately
- Ability to lift 75+ pounds repeatedly and work in extreme temperatures
- Pass pre-employment physical and drug screening
- Proficient in reading blueprints and technical schematics
- Availability to work 8-hour night shifts (6 PM - 6 AM)
- Texas Driver's License with clean driving record
