Responsibilities
- Perform heavy lifting, digging, and site preparation tasks
- Operate hand/power tools and construction machinery safely
- Assist carpenters, masons, and other trades professionals
- Maintain clean and organized job sites
- Adhere strictly to OSHA safety protocols
- Complete shift reports and document work progress
- Support emergency construction projects as needed
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year construction/labor experience preferred
- Valid OSHA 10-hour certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly
- Flexible availability for night shifts (6 PM - 6 AM)
- Basic math skills for measurements and material counts
- Reliable transportation to job sites across Austin
- Pass pre-employment background/drug screening
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
