Responsibilities
- Perform heavy lifting, material handling, and site preparation tasks during night shift hours
- Operate hand/power tools (saws, drills, jackhammers) and construction equipment safely
- Assist carpenters, masons, and other trades with layout, framing, and finishing work
- Maintain clean, organized job sites and comply with OSHA safety protocols
- Read blueprints and follow precise construction instructions
- Support concrete pouring, excavation, and demolition operations
- Participate in daily safety briefings and equipment inspections
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of construction/labor experience required
- Valid OSHA 10-Hour Construction certification (or ability to obtain within 30 days)
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and withstand extended physical labor in all weather conditions
- Reliable transportation and flexible availability for night shifts (6 PM - 6 AM)
- Basic math skills for measurements and material calculations
- Strong communication skills and ability to work in diverse teams
- Pass pre-employment drug screening and background check
- Valid Florida Driver's License preferred
