Responsibilities
- Perform heavy lifting, material handling, and debris removal at construction sites
- Operate hand/power tools and light machinery (saws, drills, forklifts)
- Assist skilled tradesmen with concrete pouring, framing, and finishing tasks
- Maintain strict adherence to OSHA safety protocols and site cleanliness
- Read blueprints and follow supervisors' instructions for task execution
- Monitor and report equipment malfunctions or hazardous conditions
- Support site setup/teardown operations and inventory management
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED acceptable)
- Valid California Driver's License (Class C or higher)
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly and work in all weather conditions
- Basic knowledge of construction tools and safety procedures
- Flexibility to work overnight shifts (typically 7 PM - 5 AM)
- Pass pre-employment physical and drug screening
- Reliable transportation to job sites across San Diego County
- Previous construction experience preferred but not required
