Responsibilities
- Perform physical labor including excavation, material handling, and site preparation
- Operate hand/power tools and heavy machinery under supervision
- Adhere strictly to OSHA safety protocols and maintain clean work zones
- Assist skilled tradesmen with scaffolding, demolition, and concrete work
- Read and interpret basic blueprints and project specifications
- Complete daily equipment inspections and maintenance checks
- Support night-shift logistics including material staging and inventory management
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in extreme weather conditions
- Basic knowledge of construction tools and safety procedures
- Pass pre-employment physical and drug screening
- Flexible availability for overnight shifts (6 PM - 6 AM)
- Willingness to travel between Jacksonville, FL and NC project sites
- Strong work ethic and commitment to team collaboration
