Responsibilities
- Execute site preparation tasks including excavation, grading, and material handling
- Operate heavy machinery safely (forklifts, excavators, etc.) with proper certifications
- Assist carpenters, masons, and other trades with material installation and cleanup
- Adhere strictly to OSHA safety protocols and project specifications
- Maintain organized job sites and manage waste disposal efficiently
- Complete daily equipment inspections and report maintenance needs
- Collaborate with supervisors to meet nightly production targets
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of construction labor experience required
- Valid OSHA 10-hour certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physically demanding tasks
- Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) preferred
- Reliable transportation to job sites across Memphis metro area
- Availability to work 10 PM - 6 AM, Monday-Friday with weekend flexibility
- Pass pre-employment background check and drug screening
- Basic math skills for material calculations and inventory tracking
