Responsibilities
- Execute precise excavation, grading, and concrete pouring operations
- Safely operate heavy machinery (bobcats, excavators, forklifts)
- Install scaffolding, temporary structures, and safety systems
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and work orders
- Maintain OSHA compliance standards and site safety protocols
- Assist skilled tradesmen with material handling and prep work
- Perform daily equipment inspections and preventative maintenance
- Collaborate with supervisors to meet project milestones
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years commercial construction experience
- Valid OSHA 30-hour certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Class B CDL license or ability to secure within 30 days
- Ability to lift 75+ lbs and work in extreme weather conditions
- Proficient with hand/power tools and construction equipment
- Must pass pre-employment drug screening and background check
- Flexible availability (including weekends/holidays for critical projects)
- Basic math skills for material calculations and measurements
