Responsibilities
- Perform manual labor including excavation, material handling, and site preparation
- Operate light machinery (compactors, saws, drills) with proper training
- Assist skilled trades with concrete pouring, framing, and finishing
- Maintain clean and organized job sites following OSHA standards
- Read blueprints and follow supervisor instructions precisely
- Complete daily safety checklists and incident reports
- Collaborate with team to meet nightly production targets
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year construction or heavy labor experience
- Valid O-10 construction card or ability to obtain within 30 days
- Ability to lift 75 lbs repeatedly and work in extreme conditions
- Reliable transportation to job sites across Long Beach
- Flexible schedule availability (6 PM - 6 AM shifts)
- Basic tool proficiency (hammers, saws, levels)
- Pass pre-employment drug screening and background check
