Responsibilities
- Execute excavation, demolition, and material handling tasks on active construction sites
- Operate heavy machinery including excavators, forklifts, and power tools under supervision
- Install and dismantle temporary structures, scaffolding, and safety barriers
- Conduct site cleanup, debris removal, and hazardous material disposal
- Adhere to OSHA safety protocols and maintain equipment maintenance logs
- Collaborate with skilled tradespeople to ensure project timelines are met
- Assist in blueprint interpretation and layout verification
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year construction or labor experience preferred
- Ability to lift 75+ pounds and perform physically demanding tasks
- Valid O-10 certification or willingness to obtain upon hire
- Reliable transportation and clean background check
- Ability to work in extreme weather conditions (heat/cold)
- Basic math skills for material calculations and inventory
- Flexibility to work overtime and weekends as needed
