Responsibilities
- Operate power tools (jackhammers, saws, drills) for excavation and demolition tasks
- Load/unload construction materials and equipment safely at job sites
- Assist skilled tradespeople with concrete pouring, framing, and finishing work
- Maintain clean and organized work areas following OSHA safety protocols
- Perform site preparation tasks including trenching, grading, and debris removal
- Conduct daily equipment inspections and report maintenance needs
- Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines efficiently
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of commercial construction experience
- OSHA 10-hour certification or willingness to obtain
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly and work in extreme weather conditions
- Valid California driver's license and reliable transportation
- Basic math skills for material measurement and inventory
- Flexibility to work overtime and weekends as needed
- Pass pre-employment background check and drug screening
- Experience operating heavy machinery (bobcats, forklifts) preferred
