Responsibilities
- Execute site preparation tasks including excavation, grading, and material handling
- Operate heavy machinery (bobcats, forklifts) under supervision with proper safety protocols
- Construct and install temporary structures, scaffolding, and formwork systems
- Load/unload construction materials and maintain organized job site inventory
- Perform concrete pouring, finishing, and curing procedures
- Adhere to OSHA standards and conduct daily equipment safety checks
- Collaborate with skilled trades to maintain workflow efficiency
- Document daily progress and report maintenance needs for tools/equipment
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year construction labor experience or relevant trade school certification
- Valid OSHA 10-Hour Construction Safety certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly and perform physically demanding tasks
- Basic knowledge of power tools and construction equipment operation
- Strong commitment to workplace safety protocols and procedures
- Reliable transportation to job sites across Milwaukee County
- Flexibility to work overnight shifts (7 PM - 5 AM) with rotating weekends
- Pass pre-employment background check and substance screening
