Responsibilities
- Execute manual labor tasks including excavation, material handling, and site preparation
- Operate power tools (saws, drills, jackhammers) and heavy machinery under supervision
- Maintain strict adherence to OSHA safety protocols and project specifications
- Assist skilled tradesmen with installation, demolition, and framing operations
- Perform site cleanup, debris removal, and hazardous material disposal
- Complete daily progress reports and maintain accurate equipment logs
- Collaborate with night shift supervisors to optimize workflow efficiency
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year construction or heavy labor experience preferred
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physically demanding tasks for 8+ hours
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- OSHA 10-hour certification or willingness to obtain upon hire
- Availability to work 10-hour night shifts (6 PM - 4 AM), Monday-Friday
- Pass pre-employment drug screening and background check
- Basic knowledge of construction tools and blueprint reading
