Responsibilities
- Perform physical tasks including material handling, site preparation, and equipment operation
- Execute demolition, excavation, and concrete work following blueprints and safety protocols
- Operate power tools (saws, drills, jackhammers) and heavy machinery under supervision
- Maintain clean and organized job sites while adhering to OSHA standards
- Assist skilled tradesmen with carpentry, plumbing, and electrical installations
- Conduct daily equipment inspections and report maintenance needs
- Work collaboratively in all weather conditions to meet project deadlines
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; trade school certification preferred
- Minimum 1 year construction labor experience or equivalent military training
- OSHA 10-hour certification or willingness to obtain within 30 days
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physically demanding tasks
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record
- Reliable transportation to job sites across Wichita
- Pass pre-employment background check and drug screening
- Availability to work 6 PM - 6 AM schedule with flexible weekends
