Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair complex electrical systems in commercial and industrial settings
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical specifications
- Ensure strict compliance with NEC, OSHA, and local electrical codes
- Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical faults using advanced diagnostic tools
- Lead emergency response teams during critical outages
- Mentor junior technicians and maintain detailed project documentation
- Collaborate with project managers to ensure timely delivery
- Conduct safety inspections and implement preventive maintenance protocols
Qualifications
- Valid Texas electrician license (Journeyman or Master)
- Minimum 4 years of commercial/industrial experience
- Proven expertise with PLC systems, VFDs, and motor controls
- Advanced troubleshooting skills for complex electrical systems
- OSHA 30-hour certification preferred
- Strong knowledge of energy management systems
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Excellent physical condition and ability to work at heights
- Must be available for flexible night shift scheduling
