Responsibilities
- Install, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems, wiring, and components per NEC and local codes
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical documentation
- Perform preventative maintenance on industrial machinery and electrical equipment
- Diagnose system failures using multimeters, oscilloscopes, and diagnostic tools
- Ensure OSHA compliance and maintain clean, organized workspaces
- Collaborate with engineering teams on complex commercial projects
- Document work orders and maintain accurate maintenance records
Qualifications
- Valid Ohio Journeyman Electrician license (or ability to obtain within 90 days)
- Minimum 3 years commercial/residential electrical experience
- Proficiency with conduit bending, motor controls, and PLC systems
- Strong understanding of NFPA 70E arc flash safety protocols
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in confined spaces at heights
- Reliable transportation and clean driving record
- OSHA 30-hour certification preferred
- Experience with industrial automation systems a plus
