Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair commercial/industrial electrical systems per NEC standards
- Read blueprints and schematics for complex electrical layouts
- Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical issues using advanced testing equipment
- Coordinate with project managers and team leads for seamless shift transitions
- Ensure strict adherence to safety protocols and OSHA regulations
- Manage inventory and order materials for upcoming projects
- Document work performed and maintain detailed service records
Qualifications
- Valid Texas electrician license (Journeyman or Master)
- Minimum 3 years commercial/industrial experience
- Proven expertise with 3-phase systems, VFDs, and PLCs
- Strong diagnostic skills using multimeters, clamp meters, and oscilloscopes
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- OSHA 30-hour certification preferred
- Physical ability to climb ladders and work in confined spaces
- Reliable transportation and flexible availability
