Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair commercial/residential electrical systems including wiring, fixtures, and control panels
- Diagnose and troubleshoot complex electrical issues using diagnostic tools and blueprints
- Ensure all work complies with NEC, OSHA, and local electrical codes
- Perform system inspections, preventative maintenance, and emergency repairs
- Collaborate with project teams to complete installations on deadline
- Document work orders, maintain accurate records, and submit reports
- Train apprentices on safety protocols and best practices
Qualifications
- Valid Ohio Journeyman Electrician license (required)
- Minimum 3 years commercial/residential electrical experience
- OSHA 30-hour certification preferred
- Advanced proficiency with multimeters, clamp meters, and circuit testers
- Strong understanding of NEC codes and local regulations
- Ability to read complex blueprints and schematics
- Excellent problem-solving skills under pressure
- Reliable transportation and valid driver's license
