Responsibilities
- Install, repair, and maintain electrical systems in commercial/industrial facilities
- Read blueprints and technical diagrams to execute precise wiring and circuitry
- Conduct thorough inspections and diagnostic testing to ensure code compliance
- Collaborate with day-shift teams for seamless project handovers and documentation
- Adhere strictly to OSHA and NFPA safety standards in all procedures
- Manage inventory and requisition materials for upcoming night-shift projects
- Train junior electricians on advanced troubleshooting techniques
Qualifications
- 5+ years of commercial/industrial electrical experience
- Valid Kansas Journeyman Electrician license (mandatory)
- Proficiency with conduit bending, motor controls, and 3-phase systems
- OSHA 30-hour certification or willingness to obtain within 30 days
- Ability to work independently in low-light conditions with minimal supervision
- Strong diagnostic skills for complex circuit and transformer issues
- Flexibility to work rotating weekends during peak project phases
- Pass pre-employment background check and drug screening
