Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in commercial and industrial settings
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical specifications
- Perform troubleshooting and diagnostics on complex electrical issues
- Ensure strict adherence to NFPA 70E and OSHA safety standards
- Coordinate with project managers and cross-functional teams
- Complete detailed documentation and maintenance reports
- Mentor junior electricians during night shift operations
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of commercial/industrial electrical experience
- Valid Louisiana Electrician Journeyman License required
- Proven expertise with conduit bending, motor controls, and VFD systems
- Strong understanding of NEC 2020 codes and regulations
- OSHA 10/30 certification preferred
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in confined spaces
- Reliable transportation and flexible availability
