Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in commercial and industrial settings
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical specifications
- Perform diagnostic testing and troubleshooting on complex electrical equipment
- Ensure compliance with NEC, OSHA, and company safety protocols
- Coordinate with day shift teams for seamless project handovers
- Document maintenance activities and prepare detailed technical reports
- Mentor junior technicians on advanced electrical systems
Qualifications
- 5+ years of commercial electrical experience with night shift background
- Valid Nebraska State Electrician License (or reciprocity-eligible)
- Expertise in PLC systems, VFDs, and industrial automation
- OSHA 30-hour certification required
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and work in confined spaces
- Strong diagnostic skills for high/low voltage systems
- Experience with power generation or distribution systems preferred
- Valid driver's license with clean record
