Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems including wiring, fixtures, and control equipment
- Perform diagnostic testing using specialized tools to identify and resolve electrical faults
- Ensure compliance with National Electrical Code (NEC), OSHA standards, and company safety protocols
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical documentation
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to complete projects on schedule
- Document work orders, maintenance logs, and incident reports accurately
- Provide after-hours emergency support for critical systems
Qualifications
- Valid California Electrician License (Journeyman or higher)
- Minimum 3 years of commercial/industrial electrical experience
- Proven ability to work independently during night shifts with minimal supervision
- Strong knowledge of NEC codes and local regulations
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment
- OSHA 10-hour certification or willingness to obtain
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and work in confined spaces
