Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in commercial and industrial facilities
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical documentation
- Ensure strict compliance with NEC, OSHA, and local electrical codes
- Diagnose and troubleshoot complex electrical issues using advanced diagnostic tools
- Perform preventive maintenance on transformers, switchgear, and control systems
- Coordinate with project managers and safety teams for seamless operations
- Document all work activities and maintain accurate service records
Qualifications
- Valid Texas electrician license (Journeyman or Master)
- Minimum 3 years of commercial/industrial electrical experience
- Proven expertise with 120V-480V systems and PLC controls
- Strong knowledge of NEC codes and local Houston regulations
- Ability to work independently during night shift hours
- OSHA 10-hour certification preferred
- Experience with power distribution systems and motor controls
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities
