Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in commercial and industrial facilities
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical specifications
- Perform diagnostic testing and troubleshooting of complex electrical issues
- Ensure compliance with NEC, OSHA, and local safety regulations
- Lead small crews during emergency service calls and critical repairs
- Document work orders, maintain equipment logs, and update project documentation
- Collaborate with project managers to ensure timely completion of assignments
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of commercial/industrial electrical experience
- Valid Kansas Journeyman Electrician license required
- Proficiency with conduit bending, motor controls, and power distribution
- Strong knowledge of NFPA 70E and arc flash safety standards
- Ability to work independently and make critical decisions during off-hours
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record
- OSHA 10/30 certification preferred
- Experience with PLC systems and industrial automation a plus
