Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair commercial electrical systems including lighting, power distribution, and control circuits
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical specifications
- Perform diagnostic troubleshooting of electrical faults using advanced testing equipment
- Ensure strict compliance with NEC, OSHA, and California Title 24 regulations
- Lead emergency response teams for critical power outages and system failures
- Mentor junior technicians and maintain detailed service documentation
- Collaborate with project managers on after-hours installation timelines
Qualifications
- Valid California Electrician Journeyman License (required)
- Minimum 5 years commercial electrical experience
- Proven expertise with high-voltage systems (480V+)
- OSHA 30-hour certification or equivalent
- Advanced proficiency in Fluke multimeters, meggers, and circuit testers
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in confined spaces
- Strong documentation and reporting skills
- Flexibility to work rotating weekends during critical projects
