Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in industrial/commercial settings
- Perform diagnostic troubleshooting on complex electrical panels, motors, and control systems
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical documentation
- Ensure strict compliance with OSHA, NEC, and local safety regulations
- Lead emergency response for critical power outages during night shifts
- Mentor junior electricians while maintaining quality standards
- Document maintenance activities and prepare detailed service reports
Qualifications
- 5+ years of commercial/industrial electrical experience
- Valid Ohio Journeyman Electrician license (required)
- OSHA 30-hour certification or willingness to obtain
- Proven expertise with PLC systems and variable frequency drives
- Strong diagnostic skills for high-voltage systems (480V+)
- Ability to work independently in high-pressure night shift environments
- Clean driving record and reliable transportation
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in confined spaces
