Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in commercial and industrial settings during overnight shifts
- Read and interpret complex blueprints, schematics, and technical documentation
- Ensure strict compliance with National Electrical Code (NEC) and local regulations
- Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical faults using advanced diagnostic tools
- Coordinate with day-shift teams for seamless project transitions and system handovers
- Conduct preventative maintenance on electrical panels, transformers, and distribution systems
- Maintain detailed documentation of work performed and system modifications
Qualifications
- Valid Texas Electrician Journeyman or Master license
- Minimum 3 years of commercial/industrial electrical experience
- Proven expertise with 120V-480V systems and power distribution
- OSHA 10-hour certification (or willingness to obtain within 30 days)
- Ability to work independently in low-visibility environments
- Strong problem-solving skills under pressure
- Flexibility to work rotating weekends and holidays as needed
- Pass background check and pre-employment drug screening
