Responsibilities
- Perform routine preventive maintenance on electrical systems, motors, and control panels to ensure 24/7 operational continuity.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot complex electrical malfunctions in high-voltage industrial environments.
- Install, repair, and replace lighting fixtures, power distribution equipment, and conduit systems.
- Ensure strict compliance with OSHA regulations, NFPA 70E standards, and company safety protocols.
- Document all work orders, inspections, and repairs in the maintenance management system accurately.
- Collaborate with day-shift engineering teams to implement long-term electrical upgrades.
- Respond promptly to emergency breakdowns during the night shift with minimal disruption.
Qualifications
- Certified Journeyman or Master Electrician License required for California.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in commercial or industrial electrical maintenance.
- Valid Driver’s License and a clean driving record.
- Strong working knowledge of National Electrical Code (NEC) and OSHA safety regulations.
- Ability to read and interpret complex blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams.
- Must be available to work rotating night shifts, weekends, and holidays.
- Physical ability to lift 50+ lbs, climb ladders, and work in confined spaces.
