Responsibilities
- System Installation & Maintenance: Perform the installation, repair, and maintenance of electrical systems, including wiring, lighting, and power distribution in commercial and industrial facilities.
- 24/7 Coverage: Work rotating night shifts to ensure critical infrastructure remains operational during off-hours.
- Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve complex electrical faults and malfunctions efficiently to minimize downtime.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere strictly to OSHA regulations, NEC codes, and company safety protocols to maintain a zero-incident work environment.
- Equipment Inspection: Conduct routine inspections of electrical equipment and systems to identify potential hazards or inefficiencies.
- Client Communication: Provide clear, professional updates to facility managers regarding project status and electrical issues.
Qualifications
- Licensure: Valid Journeyman Electrician License (State of New Mexico) required.
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of professional experience in commercial or industrial electrical work.
- Night Shift Availability: Must be willing and able to work night shifts, weekends, and holidays as required.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in reading blueprints, schematics, and using diagnostic testing equipment.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs), climb ladders, and work in confined spaces.
