Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of industrial electrical systems and equipment.
- Read and interpret complex blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams.
- Ensure all electrical work complies with local, state, and national electrical codes and safety regulations.
- Conduct regular safety inspections and risk assessments in the assigned area.
- Collaborate with maintenance teams to minimize downtime and maximize operational efficiency.
- Document all maintenance activities, repairs, and parts usage accurately.
- Respond to emergency electrical issues during night shifts with a focus on rapid resolution.
Qualifications
- License: Valid Journeyman Electrician License (State of Texas).
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in industrial or commercial electrical work.
- Availability: Must be available to work rotating night shifts (3rd shift).
- Skills: Proficiency with VFDs, PLCs, and industrial power distribution.
- Tools: Own and maintain a personal set of basic hand tools.
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Physical: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various weather conditions.
