Responsibilities
- Perform installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures in compliance with National Electrical Code (NEC).
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to determine layout and wiring.
- Ensure all work is performed in a safe manner, adhering to OSHA regulations and company safety protocols.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical faults in systems, motors, and control panels.
- Conduct routine inspections to identify potential hazards and ensure system efficiency.
- Collaborate with project managers and other tradespeople to ensure project deadlines are met.
- Document all work performed and maintain accurate job site records.
Qualifications
- Certified Journeyman Electrician License (required).
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in commercial or industrial electrical work.
- Valid Driver's License and clean driving record.
- Ability to work independently and efficiently during night shifts.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Physical stamina to lift heavy materials and work in various weather conditions.
- Current Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) and First Aid certification.
