Responsibilities
- Perform complex electrical installations, repairs, and maintenance on commercial and residential sites during the night shift.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to ensure accurate installation.
- Conduct routine inspections and safety checks to comply with local and national electrical codes (NEC).
- Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical issues efficiently to minimize downtime for clients.
- Ensure all work areas are clean, organized, and safe before leaving the job site.
- Communicate effectively with the day shift team and project managers regarding job status and requirements.
- Utilize power tools, testing equipment, and hand tools safely and effectively.
Qualifications
- License: Valid Journeyman Electrician License in the State of Kansas required.
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of hands-on experience in commercial/residential electrical work.
- Availability: Must be available to work 3rd Shift (10:00 PM - 6:00 AM or similar hours).
- Skills: Proficiency with electrical testing equipment (multimeters, voltage detectors) and blueprint reading.
- Driver’s License: Valid Class C Driver’s License with a clean driving record.
- Physical: Ability to lift up to 75 lbs, stand for extended periods, and work in various weather conditions.
