Responsibilities
- Install, repair, and maintain residential and commercial plumbing systems
- Respond to emergency calls during night hours with minimal response time
- Diagnose complex pipe, fixture, and drainage issues using advanced diagnostic tools
- Ensure all work complies with California plumbing codes and safety standards
- Collaborate with construction teams for new installations and renovations
- Maintain detailed service logs and inventory of parts used
- Train junior plumbers on best practices and emergency protocols
- Provide exceptional customer service during off-hours emergencies
Qualifications
- Valid California plumbing license (C-36 classification)
- Minimum 4 years of commercial/residential plumbing experience
- Proven track record handling emergency repairs after 6 PM
- Expertise in pipefitting, drain cleaning, and water heater systems
- OSHA 30-hour certification preferred
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in confined spaces
- Clean driving record with reliable transportation
- Strong problem-solving skills under pressure
