Responsibilities
- Perform emergency plumbing repairs, installations, and maintenance during overnight shifts (10 PM - 6 AM)
- Diagnose and resolve complex pipe, fixture, and drainage issues using advanced diagnostic tools
- Install and repair water heaters, boilers, and backflow prevention systems
- Collaborate with dispatch team for efficient emergency response and service prioritization
- Maintain accurate service logs and ensure compliance with California plumbing codes
- Conduct preventative maintenance checks for commercial properties during off-peak hours
- Train apprentices on modern plumbing techniques and safety protocols
Qualifications
- 5+ years of commercial/residential plumbing experience with valid California C-12 license
- OSHA 10-hour certification and backflow prevention certification required
- Expertise in trenchless pipe repair and hydro-jetting systems
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in confined spaces with proper PPE
- Valid California driver's license with clean record
- Strong diagnostic skills with experience in advanced plumbing technologies
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision during night shifts
- Flexibility to work weekends and overtime during peak demand periods
