Responsibilities
- Assist master plumbers with residential and commercial plumbing installations, repairs, and maintenance
- Perform basic pipe fitting, fixture repairs, and drain cleaning under supervision
- Conduct preliminary diagnostic assessments using plumbing tools and technology
- Maintain clean, organized job sites and adhere to safety protocols
- Document service reports and inventory usage accurately
- Participate in weekend/evening emergency call rotations as needed
Qualifications
- No prior plumbing experience required – comprehensive training provided
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Physical ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in confined spaces
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Willingness to obtain Illinois plumbing apprentice certification within 6 months
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Basic computer literacy for reporting systems
