Responsibilities
- Assist skilled carpenters, masons, and equipment operators on active construction sites
- Safely operate hand/power tools and construction machinery under supervision
- Prepare job sites by clearing debris, setting up scaffolding, and organizing materials
- Read basic blueprints and follow precise instructions from site supervisors
- Maintain strict adherence to OSHA safety protocols and company standards
- Load/unload construction materials and transport equipment as needed
- Complete daily site cleanup and waste management procedures
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Basic knowledge of construction tools and safety equipment
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in extreme weather conditions
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
- Must pass pre-employment background check and drug screen
- Flexibility to work weekends and early morning shifts
- Previous construction experience preferred but not required
