Responsibilities
- Assist carpenters, masons, and electricians with material handling and site preparation
- Operate basic hand tools (hammers, saws, drills) and light equipment under supervision
- Maintain clean and organized job sites per OSHA standards
- Load/unload construction materials and equipment safely
- Perform general cleanup and debris removal at project sites
- Follow blueprints and verbal instructions from site supervisors
- Report safety hazards and equipment malfunctions promptly
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Valid driver's license with clean record
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly
- Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Basic understanding of construction site safety protocols
- Strong work ethic and punctuality
- Ability to pass pre-employment background check and drug screen
- Reliable transportation to job sites across Columbus
