Responsibilities
- Assist carpenters, masons, and other tradespeople with material handling and site preparation
- Operate basic hand tools and equipment safely (hammers, saws, levels, etc.)
- Perform site cleanup, debris removal, and waste management
- Read and interpret basic construction plans and instructions
- Follow all OSHA safety protocols and maintain a hazard-free work area
- Support concrete pouring, framing, and finishing tasks as directed
- Complete daily progress reports and assist with inventory management
Qualifications
- Must be 18+ years old and authorized to work in the US
- Reliable transportation to job sites across Austin
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physically demanding tasks
- Basic math skills for measurements and material calculations
- Willingness to work in various weather conditions
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality work
- Valid driver's license preferred but not required
- No prior experience necessary – training provided
