Responsibilities
- Assist carpenters and masons with material handling and site preparation
- Operate hand/power tools safely and efficiently (saws, drills, levels)
- Perform demolition, debris removal, and site cleanup operations
- Read and interpret basic blueprints and project specifications
- Adhere strictly to OSHA safety protocols and company standards
- Assist in setting up temporary structures and scaffolding
- Maintain organized tool inventory and equipment maintenance
Qualifications
- Minimum 6 months construction or labor experience preferred
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physically demanding tasks
- OSHA 10-hour certification or willingness to obtain
- Strong attention to detail and safety-conscious mindset
- Basic math skills for measurements and material calculations
- Flexible availability including weekend/evening shifts
- Pass pre-employment background check and drug screening
